Today is Tuesday, Oct 13. It’s an even period day.


Announcements:


There are great prizes for students who sell Drive for School tickets:  The student who sells the most tickets will win a $100 gift certificate to REGAL Cinema, the student who sells the 2nd most tickets will win a $50 iTunes gift card and the students who sell the 3rd, 4th and 5th most tickets will win $10 gift cards to Atlantis FantasyWorld!

Plus there are great class prizes! The class that sells the most tickets will get a pizza party!  The class that has the most student participation will get an ice cream sandwich party!

AND each week, 3 classes (1 per grade) with the highest number of tickets sold will have an otter pop party.

**All students who sell at least 6 tickets will be invited to a free popsicle party!**

Students: Do you have any library books in your locker, backpack or at home that you have finished? Please return or renew your overdue library books and class novels. Clear your library account today so that you are eligible to attend the dance.

Open Streets Santa Cruz is this Sunday, Oct 11 from 9:00a-2:00p on West Cliff Dr. between the Lighthouse and Natural Bridges. Come bicycle, walk and play in the 2-mile Pop-up Street Park with no cars! West Cliff will be closed to traffic from Lighthouse Field to Natural Bridges State Park. Check out this FREE event!

Today is Monday, Oct 5, an odd day.


Announcements:

Attention 8th graders!  The 8th grade dance planning is underway and we want your ideas for themes for the dance or suggestions to make the dance a great experience in June.  There is a box in the office for you to leave a suggestion.  Deadline for getting your ideas in is Wednesday, October 7.  


Win a Car and other wonderful prizes while supporting MH.  Sell the Drive for School tickets and 100% of the money goes to things we need at MH.


Fall Arts Academy classes begin this Wednesday, Oct. 7. Please note that the Minecraft class will meet on Tuesday from 2:45-4:00.
