Today is Wednesday, Oct 28. It’s a short 6 period day.
Teachers: If you are using the computer lab, please bring your student roster and have students at the computer that matches the student’s number of the roster. Also please adjust the blinds yourself instead of letting students do it.
Are you looking for some extra Halloween fun? Santa Cruz High School is turning into a Haunted House on Friday, October 30th from 7-9pm. This event is open to the public and costs five dollars.
This is a reminder that should you decide to wear your costume on Friday, October 30th , your costume needs to follow the Mission Hill dress code, which includes: no masks, no spaghetti straps, no see-through clothing, undergarments are covered, no mid-drifts, no short shorts, skirts, dresses, and no fake (or real) weapons. In addition, should you have a hat as part of your costume, please make sure you take these off during class.
We also want to make sure that costumes are respectful of others cultures, heritages, race, and ethnicity and that costumes are not distracting or interfering with the learning of others. If you have a question regarding your costume, please ask Ms McElwee or Ms. Hodges when you see them in the hallways or during brunch or lunch. You may also send them a School Loop message.
Would you like your artwork on the cover of the 2015-2016 yearbook? Submit your best original artwork by this Friday! Flyers with details and rules are in the office or on the Mission Hill website.
This is school wide writing week, and today’s writing quote is: I'm not a very good writer, but I'm an excellent rewriter. ~James Michener
