Community Mural Needs Your Help!

We're making great progress on the new mural at Santa Cruz Mission State Historic Park and we'd love some extra help! Come help finish the tile mosaic between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. today and tomorrow.  This mural was designed by 2 MH students: Flora Chatwin and Katherine Tkoch. The students in Multi-media classes fabricated most of the mural.

We are at the finishing stage and  could really use some help today and tomorrow between 3-8.

We are on Mission St. between the clock tower and Holy Cross, just 4 blocks down the street from MHMS. We'd love to see you there!

Coming to you LIVE from the library, it’s MHTV! Good morning, Mission Hill! Today is Thursday, May 5, an odd period day.

Announcements:

This is Teacher Appreciation Week.  Give a “thank you” to your teacher for making the extra effort to help you.  You may not see the extra hours he or she puts in after you leave school, but they work at least about 10 extra hours a week beyond their work day.  The simplest appreciation you give means a lot to them, so give it try.

The Maverick After School Program (MAP) is up and running, we need to discontinue Homework Club.  If you attended Homework Club before and would like to be in the afterschool program to finish out the new year and to continue next year, talk to Ms. Dyer or Analilia.

The SPCA has five litters of kittens that need foster care.  If you are interested check their website or come see the print-out in the library for more details.
